Tips
When
buying a fireplace, consider the following:
- •
Remember that a fireplace is a purchase for the longer term and requires
considering what
you actually like rather than what is in fashion at time of purchase.
- •Take
into account the size of the fireplace, in relation to the size of the
room.
- •
Consider the look you want in both colour and design.
- •
Always ensure that the materials you choose are suitable for the purpose
for which it will be used i.e. solid fuel, gas or electric fire.
- •
Never hesitate to ask the sales team at Harding Fireplaces for advice
regarding the use and suitability of materials and designs for your
requirements. It is as much in the interest of Harding Fireplaces as
yourself to ensure that the fireplace is suitable for the purposes for
which it will be used.
- If
possible, call to Harding Fireplaces before construction of your house
begins to gain advice on construction of chimney, openings, flues etc.
to allow for variations in opening sizes for your fireplace requirements.
(i.e. most builders tend to allow standard openings in chimneys and
these can greatly limit the options for fire opening sizes)
